MasterPeace Solutions is an extreme engineering company architected, designed and developed with the input of thousands of engineers who, over a 25-year period, have provided us with best practices in company development and management. We have created the company to be a career destination for, and to employ, the "best and brightest" engineers.
Our mission is to provide unique and novel engineering solutions to the intelligence (and related) communities addressing critical problems related to National Security Mission Systems and Cyber Security. We identify, attract, hire, retain and develop the best talent with the purpose of creating superior engineering solutions and intellectual property to benefit the intelligence community. |
News from the CEO... February 2012
We are pleased to report that our company continues to grow both in size and technical capability. We have added 3 new contracts to our roster of existing contracts, bringing our total to 15 contracts and a pipeline of 15+ new proposal and teaming efforts that we are currently engaged with supporting.
MasterPeace Solutions has recently established three Centers of Excellence, in which small groups of our engineers explore problem and technology solutions domains, including Line Speed Processing and Analytics, Cloud Security and Analytics, and CyberSecurity Reverse Engineering.
We have recently established a SharePoint-based Engineering Collaboration environment which is a web accessible space designed to enable our engineers to access and share technical information related to our numerous technology projects.
We are initiating a series of technology exchanges that are intended to assist with training and development of our engineers. These exchanges will be video recorded and linked to our SharePoint Collaboration Center. We hope to tie to lab based “hands on” projects so that our engineers can develop these skills further (current exchanges focus on Spring and Python development, with future exchanges being planned currently).
MasterPeace Solutions continues to move forward in its Technology Solutions and Product Development initiatives, to include presentations of our National Cyber Analytic Alerting System (with a demo version being developed) to key customers within the Intelligence Community. We are entering a joint development relationship with a University Affiliated Research Center to develop new products related to CyberSecurity and Line Speed Processing and Analytics.
Phase 1 of our Prototype Development Lab Infrastructure is in operation and plans to expand lab capabilities in Phase 2 have been completed. We currently are in the process of developing lab environments to focus on Open Source Solutions and Cloud Technologies (with Hadoop, Cloudera, MapReduce, and Spring products currently being worked with) and Line Seed Processing and Analytics. A Microsoft based environment, in consonance with our partnership with Microsoft, is currently in the process of being developed.
Multiple technology "white papers" are in the process of development. We are developing plans to add an Embedded Engineering/CyberSecurity Reverse Engineering Lab in the first half of 2012.
MasterPeace Solutions is currently exploring SBIR/STTR programs aligned with our interests in Line Speed Processing and Analytics as they relate to solving problems in the CyberSecurity and Cloud problem domain.
We have expanded our outreach to the NSA customer through the strategic hires of Ed Kesselman, our new Executive Vice President of Special Programs and our Senior Intelligence Community Technology Solutions Consultant Tom Bartosiewicz. Ed and Tom each bring over 40 years of experience solving problems within the Intelligence Community and are helping us characterize and understand our customers’ problem sets so we may develop tailored solutions. Additionally, we have brought on board another Senior NSA Business Development Consultant. We expect that the addition of these key executives will help us generate more new program wins and engage in more solutions/product development opportunities.
MasterPeace has opened a new office in Reston, Virginia in order to support our growing cadre of National Security customers in that region.
Feel free to stop by our Maryland office if you would like to chat and/or explore some of the technology innovations brewing within our company.
Thanks much for reading this update.
