Our Technical Strategy

The MasterPeace Solutions technical strategy is derived from our assessment of the requirements from the Federal Market with a specific focus on the Intelligence Community and the emerging Test Driven Agile Development business model which is a key outcome of the market assessment. 

In brief, the MasterPeace Solutions technical strategy is to develop our engineering breadth, solutions and product portfolio by achieving a leadership position as a Prototype Solutions Developer leveraging the latest technologies, methodologies and products to solve some of the toughest problems in the community.  These problems include Line Speed Processing and Analytics for CyberSecurity applications, Real Time Processing of Geo-Spatial Data in four dimensions, Anomaly Detection and Pattern recognition of Cyber attacks, etc.  We achieve these technical objectives through a combination of attracting and developing the best technical talent on the market, open source participation, fostered internal innovation, partnership with commercial innovators and product vendors, specialized and focused training, and applied research generated through our Thought Leadership Groups and Centers of Technology Excellence.

The MasterPeace Solutions engineering community is formed around our ability to apply technology to critical customer mission needs. Our innovation center provides a place for us to demonstrate our Current Projects to our customers. Our projects in turn improve our offerings in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering.

National Security Applications Center and the Software Product Development Lab

We have developed and are expanding our National Security Applications Center to support creative employees in researching, analyzing, enhancing, integrating and developing unique solutions using “best of breed” commercial products.  All of these products are related to our core competencies.

Our Software Product Development lab is based upon best practices in Test Driven Agile Development and incorporates the latest technologies and development environments. It is virtualized thereby enabling remote, distributed software development. Currently, we have a VMware based Linux Development environment and a Windows OS Development environment. An OS Solaris based environment is envisioned in the near future.

The Market

Our strategy is driven by the dynamic nature of our marketplace. Our assessment of the marketplace is a living document contributed to by every member of MasterPeace Solutions, including our strategic Board of Advisors and external Technology Advisory Group comprised of world class executives and technologists.  As an engineering solutions provider, the technical direction of our customers has major impact on our decision making. While we are guided by our customers, we are not content to merely follow. We are constantly looking toward the technology horizon to identify new commercial practices, products and methods that will rapidly advance our customers’ missions.

Our current view of the marketplace shows major growth segments in Cyber Defense, Intelligence Analysis and Infrastructure Development, three major behavioral drivers are affecting how our customer buys solutions. The first drive is the need for Line Speed Processing and Analytics at the Enterprise level with multi-terabytes of data to be analyzed in sub-millisecond timeframes with high degrees of security. The second area of customer need is the development of ISP/ASP model. The third domain is a move to agile development methods.

The Cloud Computing Model

The concept behind the Cloud Computing model is founded on the concept that there is sufficient network connectivity and that general purpose computing is now powerful enough that there is no longer a need for a dedicated hardware environment to support enterprise applications. This means that the application environment can be completely separated from the underlying computing and communication infrastructure. This separation creates two distinct market segments. The first segment is that of the Infrastructure Service Provider.
