Edward N. Kesselman

Executive Vice President for Special Programs

In his role at MasterPeace Solutions, Ed is primarily accountable for cultivating relationships with NSA/CSS customers and teaming partners with the purpose of assisting the government in solving tough problems.

Ed has over 50 years of highly successful experience serving the Intelligence Community and DoD industry work experience. He has served and retired as an Executive from NSA and for the past 13+ years a Senior Executive in private industry supporting NSA and the Intelligence Community.  His industry experience includes leadership roles in three primary areas: running operations, winning new business, and maintaining and growing mutually beneficial relationships.  He served as a VP for Operations, VP for Business Development and Capture, SVP for Strategic Programs and NSA/CSS Account Executive for large, medium and small businesses.  Under his leadership, his teams have helped support and solve customer challenges, developed and supported the growth of personnel, and grew profitable business for the companies we have served.  The most significant operational result was the growth of his CSC business unit from $94M to $250M in annual revenue over a four-year period.  The most significant business development/capture manager results are the aggregate total of over $5 billion of new awards during his tenure as lead executive, business developer and /or capture manager since joining the industry in December 1998.

Prior to joining the industry, Mr. Kesselman had the privilege and pleasure of serving the NSA/CSS for 37 years.  His work experience with the NSA/CSS included extensive dealings within the DOD, the Intelligence Community, and other academia, industry and foreign partners.  He led various line, staff, support organizations.  He served three overseas assignments to include Chief of Operations at a major field site.  He led the following organizations and functional activities at one time or another during his 37 years of service:  Collection, System Acquisition Process, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution, Instructor (leadership and collection courses), Integrated Logistics Support, the Cryptologic Training System Requirements Process, Program Management of the NSA Time Sensitive System, Country Desk Officer, Career Development and Professionalization Panels, Chief of Staff, Installation and Logistics,  Technical Services for Information Assurance Products and Services, and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director NSA/CSS.

Mr. Kesselman worked as an independent consultant and instructor and trainer for the past 37 years.  He taught at Towson University, Anne Arundel Community College, and the National Security Agency. 

Mr. Kesselman earned a Masters Science Degree in Management and Organization Theory and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science.  He was awarded the Meritorious Civilian Service Award (1990).

Mr. Kesselman resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with his wife Bernadette.  They have three children (Laura, Jason, and Kimberly) and three grandchildren (Aidan, Ava and Olivia Rose).  They have two “grand dogs”, Bear and Athena (Bernese Mountain Dogs, courtesy of Kimberly).  Kess enjoys people, wine, music and golf.
